Book blurbs.....the stoner's sister

(name) was sitting down stairs in his little domain, retreating from the rest of the world and ready for some peace and quiet. No kids are here, his girl is gone, that stupid cat has disappeared under a couch some where. Taking all the time and care in the world he packs his little chilum with some amazing bud a friend brought by. "Master Kush" she called it. Whatever the name, this herb was the best he'd had in a while! His glass pipe pressed to his lips, he inhales and immediately has a coughing fit. About that time, his sister flys through the front door to ask something about rent or the kids or something...who knows but she has bad timing! Slightly annoyed, (name) hides all his paraphanelia and pot as she starts coming into the kitchen. Still a room away she shouts out "Dang, it smells like a skunk in here! Do you smell that? Gah (name)!" Trying his hardest not to burst into laughter the rest of her visit, he mentions dinner and a shower. She leaves just as quickly as she came, finger on her nose. "Thank god, where was I....oh yes, you, you smelly little skunk," he smirks to himself and prepares for the rest of his quiet evening alone.

Artist block?

Havent done much on the sins because I have had no time at all. I started painting a portrait of a glass decoration that I have, but still have yet to finish it. After the move I'll be able to be more focused. I did have a great idea though for family portraits. I'm going to use my favorite pictures of the kids and try to get Grayson to take one with me (he so anti photos, lol). Then edit them for a high contrast. Using only one color other than black I am going to paint them in black and then an image that represents them tied in with a different color.
For instance, I have a photo of James, making a hilarious "grrr" face and I was going to do a lions main around his head. Lorelei has a cute picture of her sitting like a mermaid so I'll do her portrait with a tail and fish around her. Karleigh will be my little koala! Grayson and I, if I ever get that photo, will be on a chair with our environment swirling around us but we dont see it. Cute, eh? It'll be much better once I get it all done.
