Shoot ideas

I had a few more ideas and I wanted to jot them down before I forgot them. The first one is going to be attempted on the 20th so good luck to us, lol. We are going to use ropes and fabric to hang from the ceiling, do my make up like a rag doll or like a puppet and hang me from the ropes and fabric in the ceiling. Cool, huh?

Just had another idea with that. A long time ago I did a wood print called chained soul and I also did a sketch called vanity. We could easily reproduce chained soul by hanging the chains from the ceiling, strapping them to me some how??, and go from there to get our images. We need a ball for the chains though. It pretty much represents exactly what the title describes. A trapped soul, bound by chains. The make up will look simple but will actually be quite the task for Sarah. It has to be done fully nude, and even though I'm already pale, we will want to try to make me look even more so. We will also have to use make up to make me look like skin and bones, especially on the face. I want string, dirty hair and am contemplating investing in extensions so it will be the length I want. The setting should be very dark and bland

Vanity was a drawing of a girl hanging by her hands from ribbon and fabric. She was in front of a mirror that was shattered by her body swinging in the air. We could do it without the mirror in the back ground, but the image of her swinging in the air from delicate fabric has the potential to be breath taking. It's nude as well, but the fabric covers all delicates :)

The other idea I have is going to be pretty fun. I was thinking today about a series of "Liberate Yourself" posters. The first is 10 photos surrounding a larger one, or whatever numbers add up. The boarder photos are like back stage shots of a model in country, punk, hip-hop, nautical, formal, skanky, etc. outfits. In the middle is them same woman, nude, drawing "The real me" and terms of endearment all over herself with a purple/pink marker. The caption at the bottom could read "Liberate Yourself...by finding yourself"
Another "LY" poster is a series of images of a woman in the nude doing various things. Laundry, cooking, reading, playing on the internet, watching tv, sleeping, etc. totally nude. At the bottom it says "Liberate Yourself...dig out your birthday suit"
I want to do a lot like this that basically send the message to make yourself a free person by riding yourself of societies standards. Example, LY...do it like they do on the PBS channel. Use images of hand washing clothes, growing veggies in the window, sponge bathing with water boiled on the stove, reading and working by candle light.

But any who....there are my ideas. I'm going to bed :)

Book blurbs.....the stoner's sister

(name) was sitting down stairs in his little domain, retreating from the rest of the world and ready for some peace and quiet. No kids are here, his girl is gone, that stupid cat has disappeared under a couch some where. Taking all the time and care in the world he packs his little chilum with some amazing bud a friend brought by. "Master Kush" she called it. Whatever the name, this herb was the best he'd had in a while! His glass pipe pressed to his lips, he inhales and immediately has a coughing fit. About that time, his sister flys through the front door to ask something about rent or the kids or something...who knows but she has bad timing! Slightly annoyed, (name) hides all his paraphanelia and pot as she starts coming into the kitchen. Still a room away she shouts out "Dang, it smells like a skunk in here! Do you smell that? Gah (name)!" Trying his hardest not to burst into laughter the rest of her visit, he mentions dinner and a shower. She leaves just as quickly as she came, finger on her nose. "Thank god, where was I....oh yes, you, you smelly little skunk," he smirks to himself and prepares for the rest of his quiet evening alone.

Artist block?

Havent done much on the sins because I have had no time at all. I started painting a portrait of a glass decoration that I have, but still have yet to finish it. After the move I'll be able to be more focused. I did have a great idea though for family portraits. I'm going to use my favorite pictures of the kids and try to get Grayson to take one with me (he so anti photos, lol). Then edit them for a high contrast. Using only one color other than black I am going to paint them in black and then an image that represents them tied in with a different color.
For instance, I have a photo of James, making a hilarious "grrr" face and I was going to do a lions main around his head. Lorelei has a cute picture of her sitting like a mermaid so I'll do her portrait with a tail and fish around her. Karleigh will be my little koala! Grayson and I, if I ever get that photo, will be on a chair with our environment swirling around us but we dont see it. Cute, eh? It'll be much better once I get it all done.
